"Reminiscent History of North Collins (Erie County, New York)" is a handwritten diary written by a Mrs. Emily Stewart in 1914 and contains many names and events from the early history of North Collins, including businesses, organizations, doctors, churches, and schools. It is 40 pages long, and this copy was created in 1914. Dates in the diary range from 1809 to 1889.
The Western New York Genealogical Society was founded in 1974 to help preserve and encourage interest in the area's rich genealogical heritage. Its focus is on the eight Western New York counties: Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Wyoming, Orleans, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany.
